Nearby Places to Visit

Craven Hall & the John Fitch Steamboat Museum Located in nearby Warminster, this home was built between 1790-1945.  The Steamboart Museum is dedicated to the inventor of the world’s first commercial steamboat.

Eight Arch Stone Bridge in Warwick, PA.  Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in May, 1984, this bridge is owned and maintained by the Warwick Township Historical Society.  For more on the bridge, click here.

Graeme Park  Located just a few miles west this park features the Keith House which is the only surviving residence of a colonial Pennsylvania Governor.

Horsham Preservation and Historical Association  Based in Horsham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA, this organization is dedicated to identifying, studying, preserving and protecting the historical heritage, buildings and artifacts of the Horsham area.

Independence National Historic Park    Located about 30 miles south of Moland you will find Independence Hall, Benjamin Franklin Museum and the Liberty Bell.

Valley Forge National Park  Located about 30 miles east of Moland this park is the site of the 1777-78 Revolutionary War Encampment.

Washington Crossing Historic Park  While in the area also consider visiting this park, where General Washington and troops crossed the Delaware on Christmass 1776,  which is less than 20 miles from Moland House.

The William Tennent House  This building was used as the home of William Tennent and his family in the early 18th century. There he taught, housed and fed students before and after his Log College was built.

Hartsville, PA  This historical record of the Hart family of Philadelphia includes information related to the history of Hartsville from it’s formation through the early 1900’s.  Moland House is located within the borders of Hartsville.
