Flag Day: Every year on the open house nearest to Flag Day, the Moland House has a special ceremony celebrating our national emblem. In 2012, we are honored to have Boy Scout Troop #52, Betsy Ross, and the Heritage Creek choir joining us for our event at 1:30 on June 10th.
Lunch with Lafayette:
On September 18, 2011 the esteemed Major General Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert de Motier Marquis de Lafayette once again graced the rooms of the Moland House. He hosted a delightful French inspired luncheon as we enjoyed lovely violin music.
200 Years of Chocolate:
Renowned food historian Susan McLellan Plaisted demonstrated 18th century chocolate making in our 1750’s kitchen while modern day chocolate experts graced our meeting room with delicious samples and activities. Thanks to the following for helping to make the day special:
